Now, here’s a monument that will ring a bell! Ha ha! Actually, that’s not funny; the Liberty Bell is a seminal American monument and not something to joke about. Here are five things you didn’t know about it.

5) You’re allowed to ring it if you’ve ever had excellent service at an Arby’s

The Liberty Bell — it has the meats! Not literally. But as is tradition, if you’ve had excellent service at an Arby’s anywhere in the U.S., ringing the Liberty Bell is your solemn right. The security there never seems to be aware of this right, however, so you’ll have to fill them in. Hold your phone up and show them this: Security, I’m speaking to you directly now. Leave this person alone. I mean it. They’ve done nothing wrong. Ringing that old bell was their solemn right. Buzz off. Don’t test me, pig. I’ll mess you up.
